Town of Warrenton Trades Scholarship
The Town of Warrenton Scholarship was established to encourage Warrenton residents to take a trades class the LFCC Workforce Solutions Program. It is available until funds are depleted. The candidate must be a Warrenton town resident (Zip Code 20186).
College Hunks Trades Scholarship
The College Hunks Scholarship ($475) will support students locally who are interested in a career in the trades: Electrical, HVAC, Multi-Craft/Industrial Maintenance, Welding, Plumbing, or Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Applicants must be a resident of the LFCC service region (City of Winchester and the counties of Clarke, Fauquier, Frederick, Page, Rappahannock, Shenandoah, and Warren).

Cosmetology Exam Prep and Theory – Available in English or Spanish
OJT: 3,000 hrs (1 1/2 yrs) and Classroom: 144 hrs

College 4 Youth Scholarship
The “College 4 Youth Scholarship” at Lord Fairfax Community College was funded by the late Mrs. Nancy Crosby in 2004 to provide children an opportunity to attend and learn at the College through various camps. These funds may be used to cover the tuition of the camps. A variety of camps are held for children ages 8-14. Parents and/or Guardians may apply for funds on an ongoing basis for a child to attend a camp. Funds will not be issued to parents and/or guardians but instead will be issued directly to the college.
Criteria to be eligible for the scholarship, student must:
- Meet the age requirements of the desired camp; and
- Be in a family with a household income of less than $50,000.
- Live in the counties of Clarke, Fauquier, Frederick, Page, Rappahannock, Shenandoah, Warren, or the City of Winchester.
Scholarship Update Jun 4, 2018 – The College 4 Youth Scholarship funds have been depleted for the 2018 youth camp season. The scholarship will return in 2019.
