Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification for Word helps validate your proficiency in using Microsoft Office Word. Candidates must pass one certification exam in order to earn this MOS certification. For this exam candidates should be able to navigate Microsoft Office Word 2010 software at the feature and functionality level. They should be familiar with and know how to use at least 80% of the features and capabilities of Microsoft Office Word 2010. The core-level user should be able to use Microsoft Office Word 2010 to create and edit professional-looking documents for a variety of purposes and situations. Prerequisites Students should be able to use Microsoft¨ Office Word 2010 to create, edit, format, save, and print business documents that contain text, tables, and graphics. Students should also be able to use a web browser and an email program. In order to understand how Word interacts with other applications in the Microsoft Office System, students should have a basic understanding of how worksheets and presentations work
