Short Description: The Workforce Readiness: Initiative and Self-Direction course provides students with an overview of the principal areas of initiative and self-direction that are crucial for new workers entering today’s competitive, rapidly changing workplace and individuals who want to transition to a new career.

Audience: The target audience for the Workforce Readiness: Creativity and Innovation course are individuals who are transitioning into a new career field after 10 or more years in another career, as well as individuals who are new or returning to the workforce.

Instructor Description: This class supported by an Educational Mentor. Educational mentors have worked or are working in the subject they mentor. Educational Mentors review student work, student progress, and interact with students as needed. They respond to any questions or concerns you might have, as well as encouraging and motivating you to succeed.
