Entrepreneurship and Leadership for the 21st Century
Short Description: What does it take to build and grow a business from scratch? What personal characteristics are shared by successful entrepreneurs? What types of resources are available to budding entrepreneurs, and where can you find them? What is leadership and why is it important? How does a leader encourage change without triggering fearful resistance? What are the key elements to leading an effective team? What is the role of charisma in leadership? How can a leader achieve work-life balance? These are just some of the questions learners will explore throughout this program. In this program, learners will gain knowledge and skills in the practice of management in an international business context and how to recognize their creativity and innovation and the tools that allow them to leverage that creativity to identify and solve organizational problems. Upon successful completion of this program, learners will be ready to begin a career in management, self employment, and leadership.
