This course will provide an introduction to the programming, set-up and tooling for Computer Numerical Control machines. Machinist/mechatronic technicians will learn and apply the skills needed to write, edit and test basic parts programs. General Machine Shop Safety practices and CNC Mill/Lath Operation will be reinforced. Students who register for this class must be experienced at the Lathe and Milling machines or have taken the following classes: Mechanical Schematics Drawing/Reading and Metal Machining-Lathe/Milling.
