Student Recruitment

Help wanted sign

Thank you for inquiring about the possibility of reaching out to Workforce students for job opportunities in your organization!  We value and support our local employers in their endeavors to recruit locally for their open positions.  Many Workforce students are full time working adults, who attend classes outside of their work time.  In some cases, these students have received tuition assistance from their employer as part of their training and development program. For these reasons, we do not allow direct employment recruitment to occur in our classrooms.  We do however share with these students’ ways to learn about these opportunities if they have an interest.  We encourage employers to use these established recruitment processes at LFCC to reach this audience of students who may have an interest in your current job openings.

Thank you for being a part of the LFCC Community and for your continued interest in hiring our students. We are currently using College Central as our career portal for students and employers, but we are now switching to a new portal. We are very excited about the new LFCC Online Career Coach site! This site will continue to allow all approved employers to post jobs and search for student resumes.

New profiles will need to be made at www.lfcc.edu/portal by January 1, 2019. You can continue to post jobs and search resumes on College Central up until that date, but on January 1 we will no longer be pointing students to sign up on College Central. If you have any open job postings currently on College Central, please feel free to also post those now on the LFCC Online Career Coach site once you have been approved.

You must register your organization prior to accessing these services. Once your registration is reviewed, if it is approved you will receive an email which includes a link to activate your account.
