MIG Welding Workshop
MIG welding is sometimes referred to as the “hot glue gun” of the welding world. It is the awesome process of using electricity to melt and join pieces of metal together. Produce quality MIG welds on steel and aluminum using proper techniques and procedures. This hands-on course stresses safety, wire and shielding gas selection, machine settings, weld sizing and more.
TIG Welding Workshop
Tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding is the process of blending together reactive metals, such as magnesium and aluminum. Getting the knack of TIG welding is mostly in getting the weld pool to form, at the same time, on both pieces of metal. Produce quality TIG welds on steel and aluminum using proper techniques and procedures. This hands-on course stresses safety, rod and tungsten selection, machine settings, weld sizing and more.
AWS Welding Certification Prep and Exam
Join us to get ready for your AWS Welding Certification test. Our CWI will explain what certification options are available and guide you through hands-on practice welds to prepare you for success.
Let our Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) help you prepare and take your AWS Flat or Vertical Certification in: SMAW, GMAW or FCAW. He will walk you through the procedures step-by-step and then test your weld plate. You will know the results of your test the same night. Official AWS papers will be mailed within two weeks. Don’t miss this opportunity to prove your welding skills when looking for a job! Please note: Must be an experienced welder or have taken the 2-day certification prep class to register for this class.
FREE AWS Welding Certification Information Sessions
Are you interested in attempting an AWS Welding Certification? If so, please attend this FREE 1-hour information session with our CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) to find out what is involved and required to get certified.
Welding Class Need to Know Information

Blueprint Reading and Fabrication Math for Welders
Every welder needs to know the basics of reading a blueprint, how to do fabrication math and be able to read welding symbols in order to be successful in the eld. The foundational skills that you are taught in the classroom will have immediate application as you practice in the lab. Even the slightest error in the measuring, cutting, placing, or welding of the fabrication can cause it to be scrapped or necessitate expensive reworking. These skills are valuable to every welder and you won’t want to miss out on building on the foundation that you already have! If you already have an AWS certification, register today!
Do you already have an AWS certification and you want to learn some more advanced skills? If so, this class is for you! In this class, you will have the opportunity to learn out of position welds, including vertical, overhead, and open root welds. These positions are challenging but rewarding skills to learn. Being competent in these skills will allow you to weld in a variety of settings and projects. Students are also encouraged to take Blueprint Reading and Fabrication Math for welders. Enhance your skill set today!
